The Associate position will support the firm's mid- and senior-level investment professionals and work closely with portfolio company management and external parties (lawyers, accountants, investors, and lenders) to evaluate and execute investment transactions, undertake ongoing asset management, and support the successful exit of mature investments. Responsibilities include conducting due diligence on potential new investments, developing detailed financial models pertaining to financing, acquisitions, and operations, ongoing asset and portfolio management, market research, preparation of reporting and presentation materials, participation in sale transactions and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assisting in the evaluation of new investment opportunities and the preparation of screening and investment committee memos, term sheets and other various presentations & transaction related documents 

· Building and presenting detailed financial models, including performing sensitivity analyses, reviewing financial projections and valuation assumptions, and assessing model integrity and financial returns of investment opportunities 

· Researching and analyzing financial statements, industry information, technical and financial data and synthesizing and presenting conclusions and recommendations to team members 

· Working closely with investment team members and the management teams of current portfolio holdings around the internal and external monitoring and reporting of asset management performance and priorities 

· Engaging with potential 3rd parties including project partners and developers, advisors, consultants and investors

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree required 

· 2-4 years in investment banking and/or buyside experience required. Infra/Energy focus is a plus 

· Superior analytical and modeling skills 

· Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment 

· Strong communication skills (oral, written and active listening) 

· Excellent quantitative, qualitative and research skills
