Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business growth for ProSource by identifying, contacting, and converting potential clients. This role focuses on building strong relationships, conducting discovery calls, and ensuring a seamless handover to the Client Success team for onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify potential clients in key sectors (Travel & Tourism, Healthcare, Aged Care, NDIS, Accommodation, Hospitality).
  • Reach out via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to secure meetings.
  • Work closely with the Lead Generation team to maximize outreach efforts.
  • Sales & Discovery Calls
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and present ProSource's VA solutions.
  • Tailor service offerings to meet the unique challenges of each business.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Sales Pipeline Management
  • Track prospects and progress using CRM tools.
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach, calls, meetings, and outcomes.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Recruitment team to ensure client briefs are accurately captured.
  • -Seamlessly hand over signed clients to the Client Success Manager for onboarding and ongoing care.
  • Revenue Growth
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional VA support.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Number of new discovery calls booked per week/month.
  • Number of proposals sent and deals closed.
  • Monthly revenue generated from new client sign-ups.
  • Lead conversion rate.
  • Quality of handover to Client Success Manager.
  • Skills & Experience: 
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within a VA agency, preferably within outsourcing, recruitment, or service-based businesses.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mindset.
  • Confident in running discovery calls and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with sales CRMs and lead tracking.

Work Hours: Full-time (with flexibility to work across Australian time zones).
