About the job Planning Director
The Planning Director is a collaborative, fact-driven, creative thinker with great human and business instincts. He/she will grow and support the Strategy team by uncovering information, distilling insights and synthesizing them to create inspiration for creative teams and business partners. As strategists are the foundation of any creative work, he/she is obsessed in studying industries, consumers, and acquiring relevant data to develop a starting point for groundbreaking creative work.

Strategy and Communications Development
- Lead the strategy of some of our biggest clients, and partner with them to unlock their business growth by genuinely understanding their business and their challenges;
- Partner with Creatives to make ground work and give them interesting, unexpected ways to look at creative solutions
- Responsible in using data, research and insight to uncover areas of growth or creative firepower, and synthesize all of this into compelling narratives.
- Responsible in transforming client briefings into a creative proposal that includes identifying impactful key insights that will shape the campaign strategy.
- Lead in developing sound framework & clear presentation to effectively showcase the Agency's output, and effectively present to corresponding audiences.
Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities for the agency via delivering brand growth or new accounts, both in a leading and supporting role as leader of the wider strategy team.
- Lead in spotting emerging technologies / platforms / behavior / modes of communication that would provide strategic digital solutions that the brand should/must be in and for potential rollout to Agency in creating new product offerings.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Guide and steward brand development, brief and steer creative development, work with stakeholders in campaign planning and delivery, helping brief and analyze research.
- Lead all internal and external strategic discussions with management and senior clients;
- Responsible in cultivating growth and leading the department in ensuring high quality work and relationships.
- Responsible in representing Propel Manilas management in making sure talents understand the agency's strategic objectives, in executing business strategies and tactics, policies and regulations, Culture programs, and delivery of financial targets;
- Together with the Culture & HR department, responsible in representing the Talents voice during management meetings including career roadmaps, issues and/or suggestions or opportunities in accordance to the agency-wides direction and strategy in developing its people through its Culture & HR programs.
- Together with Accounts team, lead in developing client relationships, maintaining and enriching connections with clients key divisions.
