Our Orangeburg, South Carolina manufacturing client is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. This Manufacturing Engineer plans and designs complex manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. The engineer has full technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting independent technical projects for the engineering support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly and material handling.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, showcasing your commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience, demonstrating your practical understanding of the field and your ability to hit the ground running.
  • Proficiency in applying engineering science and technology to real-world scenarios, illustrating your ability to turn theory into practical solutions.
  • Experience using analytical and CAD software, highlighting your technical skills and familiarity with industry-standard tools.
  • A solid grasp of design techniques, tools, and principles used in producing precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models, underscoring your attention to detail and precision.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design, enabling you to contribute valuable insights and expertise to our projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications:

  • Prepare comprehensive plans, process specifications, and procedures, leveraging your expertise to develop production aids and assembly fixtures.
  • Conduct in-depth MRP support studies, contributing to factory cost work standard development.
  • Analyze and evaluate test and production data, leveraging your technical acumen to provide valuable insights and recommend manufacturing methods and processes that align with design objectives.
  • Provide essential technical support on the production floor and during assembly, addressing challenges related to assembly drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework, and manufacturing specifications.

· Drive innovation by conducting rigorous analysis and tests, exploring new methods, materials, processes, and standards, and providing well-informed recommendations
