JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidates with process plant turnaround and shutdown related experiences are encouraged to apply. The role requires a proactive candidate with an interest in planning and execution of plant shutdown activities. Being able to engage and maintain relationships with various stakeholders is essential to this position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oil/Refinery/Chemical plants, mainly in mechanical works.
  • Experience in process plant shutdown maintenance works.
  • Know-how in plant maintenance processes and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Ability to understand engineering and technical drawings and documentation.
  • Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in Primavera will be added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to Turnaround Manager.
  • To provide planning of needed resources, materials, personnel and contracts, scope preparation, and schedule integration on mechanical scope for turnaround. 
  • Assist in scope gathering, scope optimization using available database.
  • Conduct regular site visits and prepare detailed work packages.
  • Work closely with other supporting functions to develop the work plan. 
  • Liaise with contractors and/or external vendors to determine their work scopes.
  • To participate in the execution of the Turnaround while ensuring compliance on HSE, quality and duration.
  • Monitor and control work execution based on the approved plan.
  • Close-out all document upon project completion.
