Heating Design engineer/ Technical Support Engineer
Salary: £40,0000- £45,000
Location: Remote (occasional on site requirements)

Responsibilities:
Product Development & Testing
- Support the development and testing of Infrared Heaters, ASHP Hot Water Cylinders, and new products within this department.
- Provide technical feedback on product design and performance.
- Conduct and document product field trials and testing protocols
Compliance
- Ensure all products meet local regulatory and certification requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards.
- Liaise with certification bodies for product approvals and compliance.
- Training Material
- Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials for support staff and installers and online support.
- Deliver technical training sessions as required in training room or onsite as required.
- Ensure training content reflects current product features and compliance standards.
Technical Support
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues from support staff or installers.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues.
- Collaborate with PEV / Project Curv customer support to identify and address recurring support challenges using Zendesk.
- Assist sales with any technical input
Reporting & KPIs
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on product performance and compliance metrics.
- Track and analyse KPIs, ensuring targets are met.
- Report faulty products / components.
- Highlight areas of improvement based on KPI trends and support feedback.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve product functionality and serviceability.
- Provide recommendations for updates or changes based on technical analysis and feedback.
Collaboration
- Work closely with factory R&D departments, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service teams to ensure product and support alignment.
- Share technical insights to improve product design and user experience.
Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of testing, compliance, and support activities.
- Ensure all documentation is accessible and organized for internal use on shared drive.
