About the job Indonesia Payroll Specialist
Onsite & Fulltime Contract (extendable)
Job Scope:
- Handle various responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees within a company.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws, managing appropriate deductions for taxes and social security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information necessary for processing payroll, such as personal details, salaries, exemptions, and benefits.
- Address and resolve any inquiries or discrepancies regarding payroll from employees or management.
- Operate and manage payroll software systems proficiently, ensuring that all payroll information is accurately recorded and securely stored.
- Participate in audits and ensure payroll processes meet internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, including social security contributions, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes to Indonesia labor laws and regulations affecting payroll processing.
- Support ad hoc payroll projects and initiatives to improve processes and systems.
Skills requirements:
- Strong experience in Payroll Management
- Ensure all queries are proactively responded to by the vendor or the employees/stakeholders
- Assist in reconciling monthly payroll data and other related data against information provided by stakeholders
- Specialize in cross-border payroll (SEA countries) is preferable
- Nice to have overseas experience in SEA region
- Bahasa speaker with Fluent English Communication
- A strong grasp of Indonesia labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements is crucial for ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processing
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential for resolving such issues efficiently
- Effective communication skills are necessary for liaising with internal stakeholders, responding to employee inquiries, and collaborating with team members in the HR and finance department
