This position requires a sales leader with a deep understanding of the local healthcare environment, seasoned relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of motivation and accountability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that align with corporate objectives, driving both short-term wins and sustainable long-term growth.
  • Key Account Management: Oversee and deepen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key healthcare stakeholders, maintaining strong networks within the Serbian medical device market. Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts, identifying opportunities to expand product reach and address market needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales practices comply with local and regional healthcare regulations, with particular emphasis on Serbias unique regulatory and reimbursement landscape, thus maintaining the companys high standards and market integrity.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly analyze sales performance. Adapt sales strategies as needed to meet market demands, remain competitive, and capitalize on emerging trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: A Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy) is preferred, with alternatives in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally within the medical devices industry or a closely related sector. Proven expertise in managing high-value accounts and influencing decision-making in complex healthcare sales processes.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Serbian healthcare system, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape, including knowledge of pricing and reimbursement mechanisms and distributor networks.
  • Leadership & Strategic Insight: Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and develop strategic sales initiatives. Results-oriented, proactive, and adept at setting and meeting ambitious targets within competitive, fast-paced markets.
