All CT Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs Radiology and Cat Scan procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. 
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation. 
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures required. 
• Recognizes the purpose employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist. 
• Perform examinations on patients of various ages from neonate to geriatric.

All CT Tech candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• · One year of CT experience REQUIRED. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience.
• · Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• · Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
• · Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• · Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
