JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Oncology

RN - MED/SURG ONC

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Oncology Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Oncology

RN - MED/SURG ONC

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Oncology Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1 year of RN experience required (Does not need to be in acute care) * Would Accept LTAC (Long Term Acute Care), SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) etc.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Admin must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
