Summary
The Insurance Processor is responsible for entering new customer details into the insurance broking system (Winbeat) and obtaining new and renewal quotes from insurer platforms. You will provide comparative quoting based on claims history and current information, presenting findings to advisers using set templates. Additionally, you will process quotes and invoices, ensure compliance with company procedures, manage document storage, email invoices with compliance documents, follow up on outstanding debtors, and obtain insurance certificates from relevant insurers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter new customer details in the insurance broking system (Winbeat).
- Obtain new and renewal quotes from insurer platforms.
- Provide comparative quoting based on existing data (claims history, current details) and present to advisers via set templates.
- Check and process quotes and invoices.
- Ensure accuracy within the set company procedures and guidelines.
- Save invoices and documentation into the Document Management System within the set company procedures and guidelines.
- Email invoices with compliance documents to clients via set templates.
- Follow up on outstanding debtors as required by email.
- Obtain certificates of insurance from relevant insurers.
Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of General Insurance Products (House, Car, Boat & Caravan, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with insurance systems is desirable.
- Bachelors degree.
- 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Punctuality and effective time/self-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload and be flexible.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic Excel.
