Financial Planner

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner with strong Xplan expertise to join our financial planning support team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with advisers, providing high-quality technical and administrative support that ensures accurate, compliant, and client-focused advice is delivered every time.

What Youll Be Doing

• Preparing Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and supporting documentation using Xplan.
• Conducting research and analysis of financial products, strategies, and platforms.
• Modelling financial scenarios and projections aligned with client objectives.
• Reviewing and interpreting client data, fact finds, and risk profiles.
• Ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Collaborating with advisers to clarify requirements and deliver timely advice documents.
• Maintaining accurate records in Xplan and supporting workflow management.
• Contributing to reporting and process improvement initiatives.

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner in financial planning or wealth management.
• Proficiency in Xplan (essential).
• Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in document preparation.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Relevant financial planning qualifications (Diploma of Financial Planning or higher).

Bonus Points If You Have

• Progress towards an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Australian financial services regulations (RG146 compliant).
• Experience in portfolio management and insurance advice processes.
