Position Overview

The QC Specialist at Profitable Media is responsible for ensuring the functionality, responsiveness, tracking, and conversion performance of landing pages, sales funnels, and other marketing assets. This role involves front-end testing, basic tracking validation, and pixel-perfect execution of designs while also supporting backend validation where needed. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a strong understanding of conversion tracking, and experience in quality control for direct-response marketing funnels.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Quality Control

Ensure design implementation matches the provided Figma/XD files.

Verify mobile responsiveness across various screen sizes.

Check typography, margins, and visual consistency.

Test button functionality and redirections.

Identify and report layout/UI/UX inconsistencies before sending to developers.

Functionality & Funnel Flow Testing

Ensure the entire sales funnel (landing page, upsell/downsell, thank you page) functions as intended.

Test all links and buttons within the funnel.

Validate A/B testing elements to ensure correct variations are loading.

Ensure lead capture forms, email opt-ins, and other critical touchpoints work properly.

Tracking & Analytics Validation

Verify Google Tag Manager (GTM), Facebook Pixel, and other tracking scripts are firing correctly.

Test conversion tracking & event triggers (button clicks, form submissions, etc.).

Ensure GTM events are configured properly and report discrepancies.

Cross-check analytics tools to confirm data accuracy.

Backend & Transactional Testing (Basic Level)

Verify successful test transactions (order completion, email confirmations).

Log in to CRMs (Sticky.io, Konnektive CRM, Checkout Champ) to confirm proper order tracking.

Work with Account Managers to validate test results.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain a clear checklist of required QC tasks for every project.

Provide detailed reports on identified issues with screenshots, annotations, and timestamps.

Work within Asana/Jira/Trello to log bugs and assign them to developers.

Conduct final validation before deployment to ensure no last-minute errors.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in quality control for direct-response marketing funnels.

Strong attention to detail and ability to catch small UI/UX inconsistencies.

Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, and conversion events.

Understanding of mobile responsiveness and cross-device testing.

Ability to debug basic issues (without deep coding expertise).

Experience using QA tools like LambdaTest or BrowserStack.

Basic familiarity with CRMs like Sticky.io, Konnektive CRM, or Checkout Champ (preferred).

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and Account Managers.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in direct-response marketing or funnel optimization.

Knowledge of funnel A/B testing methodologies and tools.

Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO).
