Wireless Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Conduct wireless network surveys using Ekahau Site Survey and other Wi-Fi analysis tools to assess coverage, capacity, and performance.
• Design and optimize Wi-Fi networks (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) for enterprise, industrial, or campus environments.
• Create detailed heatmaps, coverage reports, and predictive RF designs using Ekahau Pro.
• Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless assessments, ensuring signal strength, channel utilization, and interference mitigation.
• Recommend suitable access point placements, antenna types, and configurations based on environmental and user requirements.
• Document survey results, configuration changes, and recommendations for client and internal records.
• Stay current on wireless standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and emerging technologies.
• Support implementation of security protocols (WPA3, 802.1X, etc.) and compliance with corporate standards.

Job Specifications:

• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless signal propagation, and spectrum analysis.
• Proficiency in Ekahau Site Survey (ESS/Pro/Connect) and knowledge of other wireless tools such as AirMagnet, Wireshark, and NetSpot.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, or Meraki wireless infrastructure solutions.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in wireless network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
