Duration of Service: 6 Months. If required, extension would be on the sole discretion of the Company.
Organizational Context and Role:
The FC Coordinator will be based at the Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP) Facilitation Centres (FCs) across the Balochistan province. The role ensures the smooth functioning of Facilitation Centres through effective coordination, oversight, and support, reporting directly to the Client's focal point at the Provincial Office (PO) under the guidance of the PO Head of the Nutrition Unit/ Implementation Support Unit (ISU) at country office level.
Management Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall oversight and coordination of the FC.
- Submission of a daily checklist highlighting key issues/status.
- Liaise in a timely manner with Health Facility staff involved to ensure maximum integration/cooperation.
- Ensure rapid escalation of major issues to Heads of Provincial Office and Country Office.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of the centre.
- Ensure overall supervision and compliance of the required services (authentication, anthropometry and awareness sessions etc.) in the programme protocols.
- Ensure that the overall required set-up of FC including enrolment and compliance desks and other minimum setup at the facilitation centers (FCs) are in place and equipped.
- Liaise in a timely manner with the health facility staff engaged/involved to ensure maximum integration in the implementation package i.e. immunization, ANC/PNC etc.
- Ensure that the eligible beneficiaries are guided properly in order to avail services efficiently and are in full compliance with the programme protocols for cash transfer and SNF distribution.
- Assist, coordinate and supervise activities related to the compliance verification process.
- Ensure CPs compliance in maintaining a referral mechanism established between community, FC and CMAM (if applicable for SAM with complications) in line with needs and realities on ground.
- Keep active liaison with Client's Provincial Office ISU and copying ISU CO where relevant.
- Facilitate in ensuring that the monthly SNF supplies distribution plans and distributions are as per caseload of BISP beneficiaries in the concerned health facility.
- Ensure that the eligible beneficiaries for registration are guided properly to efficiently avail the available services and related compliances linked with cash transfer and SNF distribution completed.
- Ensure with cooperating Partners (CPs) the availability of stocks at FC level, also ensuring the daily stock count and reporting in stock App at close and opening of business in close coordination with CPs.
- Ensure with CP that the recommended SNF management SOPs are displayed at all facilities and followed by other staff at FC.
- Provide feedback and alert on the status of the supplies to Client/Organization on a weekly basis.
- Compile and report to Client/Organization on monthly/quarterly consumption figures, generate reports on supplies management, realistic projections, and stock reports.
- Ensure the tablets are safely stored/placed, charged and loaded with the correct software, and that internet connectivity is available with CP.
- Ensure efficient referral of malnourished beneficiaries from the registration counter to the CMAM stabilization centers (SC) sites.
- Ensure with CP that referral systems are available at a community level. Engage CNV in referring malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women with special attention to the basic health units.
- Any other task as and when required by Client/Organization at PO/CO level.
Education & Qualification:
Minimum requirement is a bachelors degree in social science, nutrition, health or related field or equivalent qualification with years of experience like nursing, LHVs etc.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in relevant field, experience of working on Nashonuma facilitation centers will be preferred.
Preference will be given to experienced female candidates from the relevant district and tehsil.
