Vigilance Inspector (CN-09-23) 02

Summary of the position:

The Vigilance Inspector acts as eyes and ears of the company in terms of regularly patrolling in ODN development sites and areas to ensure safety and security of the installations. The position also gathers intelligence on status and pace of work of company ODN development operations. Also screening through activities of the competition and reporting through use of different communication mediums.

Key Responsibilities

Description of Responsibilities:

• Patrolling on the OSP Infrastructure Route
• Monitoring of any Digging, Excavation & Construction work along with the Optical Fiber Infrastructure
• Tracking of all the company Assets installed on the road site like Duct, Cable, Cabinets, Termination Boxes and Enclosures
• Routine checking of complete asset installed in OSP
• Identification of any misshapes / damages & out of order infrastructure component
• Observing any variation in existing infrastructure from the actual statistics
• Follow-ups with 3rd party contractor regarding required maintenance of the infrastructure
• Close coordination with the representatives of the different, Utility Companies Competitors (PTCL, Nayatel, Wateen, Multinet & Mobilink) NOC / ROW issuing authorities Contractors who are doing civil works for others
• Assists the Operation & Maintenance team to localize the ground faults

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Intermediate or Matriculate with first or second division.
• Owns a motorbike in good condition. Has a valid driving license.
• Able to communicate via mobile phone and use of social media platforms.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Fast learner and passion for growth.

Desirable:

• Language skills, Urdu, English and local language (preferred)
• Independence with positive energy level
• Creativity emphasize on Excellence.
