Field Technician - Access Or Coordinator Access (CN-09-23) 02

Summary

The prime objective of Field Technician ODN Access is to activate the customer. The position of Supervisor will be to oversee the Field Technician at the site.

Key Responsibilities

For Supervisor only (additional)

• Familiar with MS-Office especially Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with MS-Outlook with use of English in email communications.
• Inter-departmental coordination skills
• Communication skills (internal and external)

For Field Technician

• Complete installation of fiber optic equipment and cable laying till the customers premises from the distribution box.
• On the spot complaint handling
• Installation of Access Point (AP), HD Box installation, and laying of RF cable for TV
• Designated area maintenance of last mile optical fiber cable
• Working with GPON technology among others
• Familiar with use of safety equipment and tools.
• To Maintaining toolkits/equipment/test gears etc.

Essential

• Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or Intermediate (complete)
• Age bracket below 32 years (36 for Supervisor).
• Familiar with GPON technology
• Ability to satisfy the customer by performing testing and troubleshooting
• Effective response to the service disruption events and ensure timely restoration.
• One to two year experience will be preferred
• Fresh with relevant educational background (capacity will be enhanced) Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
