Mechanical Thermal Design Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 7 years of engineering work experience about major mechanical equipment and systems

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Good knowledge of MS Office programs

• Strong communication skills, team worker

• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic

• Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines

• No restriction to travel and stay abroad when needed

• No military obligation for male candidates

• Knowledgeable and experienced in selection of all types of cooling towers, air cooled condensers and air cooled heat exchangers

• Familiar with major international standards of CTI, HEI ,TEMA, ASME, ASTM, API and EN associated with design, materials and testing of air cooled heat exchangers and cooling towers.

• Experienced in power, oil and gas projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry out mechanical design works for air cooled heat exchangers, air cooled condensers and cooling towers used in power, oil and gas projects.

• Prepare material requisitions, technical specifications, datasheets for all types of air cooled condensers, air cooled heat exchangers and cooling towers.

• Review and approve suppliers technical proposals

• Review and approve manufacturers technical documentation (drawings, sizing calculations, datasheets, material and test certificates, etc.)

• Review of PIDs.

• Exchange the information with the other engineering disciplines and coordinate the inter-disciplinary documents reviews and other related engineering works jointly developed.

• Be the technical interface with Site Team and Vendor.

• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
