Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to hotel standards
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Ensure timely preparation of menu items during service
  • Assist in stock management, portion control
  • Support team operations and follow kitchen SOPs and recipes
  • Grilling Skills Maintain store demand and par level of production.
  • Knowledge of holding hot items, time temperature technique.
  • Maintain the daily inventory and production report.

Skills Required:

  • Matric / Intermediate required
  • 5 to 6 years in a relevant culinary role (hotel experience preferred)
  • Strong cooking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork, discipline, and commitment to quality
