Houseman

Job Overview:

People Perfect is looking for a Houseman who is responsible for supporting the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting room attendants, transporting supplies and linens, and ensuring hotel facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and common/public areas as per hotel standards
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of all public spaces
• Change linens, make beds, and restock guest and housekeeping amenities when required
• Transport clean and soiled linens between laundry and housekeeping service areas
• Assist room attendants in heavy-duty cleaning tasks and special assignments
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and handle cleaning tools properly
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Ensure timely completion of assigned cleaning and support tasks
• Follow all SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety protocols during duty

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum Matriculation required
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the hotel/housekeeping industry preferred
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Physically fit and able to perform manual and shift-based work
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
