Job Title: Sanitation & Hygiene Program Coordinator
Locations: Kabul
Number of Positions: 1
Time Frame: Till 31st December 2025.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Should have at least bachelor's degree in business administration
- At least five years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using MIS and other data management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
- Familiarity with cultures of different Afghan communities
- Very good interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate well in Pashto, Dari, and English
- The candidate must have the ability to frequently travel to the field.
Job Description:
- Develop advocacy and coordination plan for hygiene and sanitation promotion
- Coordinate between national and provincial MoPH departments, governmental and non-governmental organizations to support program objectives and activities, enhancing relationships for effective program delivery in provinces.
- Provide assistance to the provincial teams in strengthening coordination with line departments
- Advocate for the importance of health promotion and community engagement approaches to sanitation and hygiene improvement at national and sub-national levels.
- Participate, contribute, and lead coordination meetings, workshops and conferences to share experiences and best practices in health and hygiene promotion and sanitation
- Facilitate and support WASH related events and forums including Hygiene Technical Working Group meetings.
- Contribute to the design of researchers/survey concerning knowledge, attitude and practice of health behaviors.
