Job Title: Sanitation & Hygiene Program Coordinator

Locations: Kabul

Time Frame: Till 31st December 2025.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • Should have at least bachelor's degree in business administration
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using MIS and other data management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
  • Familiarity with cultures of different Afghan communities
  • Very good interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate well in Pashto, Dari, and English
  • The candidate must have the ability to frequently travel to the field.

Job Description:

  • Develop advocacy and coordination plan for hygiene and sanitation promotion
  • Coordinate between national and provincial MoPH departments, governmental and non-governmental organizations to support program objectives and activities, enhancing relationships for effective program delivery in provinces.
  • Provide assistance to the provincial teams in strengthening coordination with line departments
  • Advocate for the importance of health promotion and community engagement approaches to sanitation and hygiene improvement at national and sub-national levels.
  • Participate, contribute, and lead coordination meetings, workshops and conferences to share experiences and best practices in health and hygiene promotion and sanitation
  • Facilitate and support WASH related events and forums including Hygiene Technical Working Group meetings.
  • Contribute to the design of researchers/survey concerning knowledge, attitude and practice of health behaviors.
