Our Client is currently recruiting a dedicated and organized General Administrator with some experience in debtors' management to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations while assisting with the management of accounts receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

General Administration:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in internal systems.
  • Coordinate office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with the preparation and sending of invoices to customers.
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and escalate overdue accounts as necessary.
  • Reconcile debtor accounts and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries related to invoicing and payments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a general administration role is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of debtors management or accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Basic financial literacy and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
