Group Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and governance of a diversified holding company with operations across the Middle East, Asia, and the CIS. This is a hands-on, senior leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational capability.
As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee complex, multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ensure financial stability and compliance, and drive long-term value creation. This role demands a proactive approach, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the groups financial strategy to support sustainable growth, profitability, and risk management across business units and countries.

Multi-Jurisdictional Oversight: Manage and align financial operations in diverse legal and tax environments, ensuring compliance with both local and international standards.

Tax & Corporate Structure Expertise: Provide in-depth tax guidance and support related to complex corporate structures. Deep understanding of corporate taxation in Russia, the UAE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the EU is required.

Capital Management & Investment Strategy: Lead capital allocation, liquidity planning, and financial structuring to optimize funding and resource usage.

Financial Performance & Risk Management: Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk assessment using advanced tools and data analytics.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and EU regulations, including multi-entity consolidation. Experience with DAC6 and EU corporate reporting requirements is essential.

Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization: Identify and execute strategies to improve cost efficiency and financial processes across the group.

Banking & Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and funding partners.

Technology & Process Optimization: Spearhead financial digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and automation of reporting systems.

Board Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to the shareholders and board, delivering clear, data-driven financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Key Qualifications & Experience

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA) are preferred.

Minimum 15 years of financial leadership experience, including within holding structures and across international markets.

Solid track record in corporate finance, financial structuring, and international tax planning.

Experience with DAC6, EU financial reporting regulations, and corporate disclosures is a strong asset.

Strong understanding of taxation and financial frameworks in Russia, UAE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.

Ability to manage complex consolidations and ensure cross-border regulatory compliance.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive teams and Boards.

Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic, Turkish, or CIS languages is a plus.

Hands-on approach with strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work independently.
