Job Summary:

A leading universal bank in Kazakhstan, ranked among the top 10, is seeking an experienced Advisor to the CEO. This high-impact role involves advising the CEO on strategic initiatives, providing operational support, and contributing to the development and execution of growth strategies across corporate and retail banking sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive executive-level experience in the banking industry, a strong strategic vision, and the ability to navigate complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise the CEO on strategic and operational matters to drive business growth.
  • Participate in Board meetings, preparing materials, proposals, and presentations.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency across corporate and retail banking divisions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities for the bank.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions with actionable recommendations.
  • Facilitate effective communication between senior management, departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the CEO in addressing key challenges, including change management and digital transformation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Management; MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the banking industry, including executive-level or key managerial roles.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate and retail banking sectors.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Proven experience in Board-level participation, including preparation and presentation of materials.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating market data and solving complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Russian.
  • Willingness to relocate to Kazakhstan.
