Our client is a dynamic investment firm focused on M&A and portfolio management, working with top-tier local and international clients. They're currently looking for a motivated investment professional to join their team and support high-profile deals.

The role involves leading M&A and debt advisory transactions, building financial models, conducting valuations and market analysis, and preparing client-facing materials. The position also includes participating in negotiations and working closely with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 1-4 years of experience in M&A or corporate finance (investment banking, PE/VC, Big 4, or internal M&A teams), strong financial modeling skills, and fluency in English and Russian. A top-tier education and CFA certification are strong advantages. International experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end M&A and Debt Advisory transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity deals.
  • Build and assess complex financial models for investment opportunities.
  • Conduct business valuations, financial analyses, and comparative benchmarking.
  • Develop client-facing materials, including presentations, teasers, investment memoranda, and analytical reports.
  • Perform market research, competitive analysis, and strategic evaluations.
  • Participate in deal negotiations and maintain strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Investment Director and partners, to drive strategic objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a top-tier university; CFA certification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: 1-4 years in M&A, corporate finance, or valuation within investment banking, private equity, venture capital, internal M&A teams, or a Big 4 firm.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple priorities.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Bonus: International experience is an advantage.
