Position: Casino Surveillance Officer
Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casino Surveillance Officer. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.
As a Casino Surveillance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our casino operations. Your main responsibility will be to monitor and observe all casino activities through the use of surveillance cameras and other specialized equipment. You will be responsible for identifying any suspicious or illegal activities and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor all areas of the casino, including gaming floors, cashiers, and other sensitive areas, through the use of surveillance cameras and other equipment.
- Identify and report any suspicious or illegal activities, such as cheating, theft, or underage gambling, to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all surveillance activities.
- Work closely with other casino staff to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with all casino policies and procedures, as well as local and state gaming laws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in surveillance or security is preferred.
- Knowledge of casino operations and gaming regulations is a plus.
- Strong observation and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a gaming license.
