As a Logistic Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods, equipment, and supplies within the hotel. Your role will play a critical part in ensuring that all logistical operations run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of the hotel's operations and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring that items are adequately stocked and replenished to support hotel operations.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to understand their inventory needs and optimize stock levels accordingly.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to quality standards and negotiated terms.
  4. Facilitate communication between suppliers, internal departments, and management to resolve any logistical issues.
  5. Plan and organize the distribution of goods to different hotel departments based on their requirements and schedules.
  6. Ensure efficient allocation of resources to prevent delays and bottlenecks in operations.
  7. Assist in coordinating the logistics of events, conferences, and other hotel activities that require equipment, materials, or supplies.
  8. Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless setup and breakdown of event spaces.
  9. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipments, deliveries, and equipment movements.
  10. Generate regular reports to provide insights into logistical performance and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, escalating any issues as necessary.
  12. Coordinate with relevant teams to address any product discrepancies or defects.
  13. Assist in tracking logistical expenses and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  14. Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through efficient logistical practices.
  15. Ensure that all logistical activities follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus).
  2. Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the hospitality or related industry.
  3. Strong import and customs knowledge, with a track record of successfully managing import processes.
  4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with suppliers, internal teams, and management.
  6. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  8. Problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges and find practical solutions.
  9. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  10. Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices in logistics coordination is advantageous.
