Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Manager to join our team in Jamaica. The Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of our hotel inventory across various online and offline channels, ensuring maximum visibility and revenue generation for our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement distribution strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy for all Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica properties

- Manage relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and other distribution partners

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand to make strategic pricing and inventory decisions

- Collaborate with revenue management and sales teams to optimize distribution and pricing strategies

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory and rates across all distribution channels

- Negotiate and manage contracts with distribution partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company

- Train and educate hotel staff on distribution strategies and processes

- Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements to continuously improve distribution processes and systems

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution or revenue management role in the hospitality industry

- Strong understanding of distribution channels and online travel trends

- Familiarity with revenue management systems and channel management tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Proven track record of driving revenue and managing relationships with distribution partners

- Knowledge of the Jamaican hospitality market is a plus
