The role of Hibachi Chef is to bring visitors an unforgettable dining experience by means of interaction, entertainment, and engagement. cooks and prepares hot meals on hibachi tables.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of hibachi dishes, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles in accordance with established recipes and presentation guidelines.
Ensure that all food items are prepared in a timely manner and meet the highest quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that all utensils, equipment, and ingredients are properly stored and labeled.
Monitor food supplies and order items as needed.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role at a luxury five-star resort/restaurant/hotel (Previous experience in a hibachi restaurant preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to ensure a fine taste of the food and deliver the best guest experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of various cooking techniques and styles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
