About the job Bartender
Job Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests and customers in accordance with recipes and hotel standards.
- Have a good understanding of the hotel's drink menu, including signature cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and suggest suitable pairings.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests, taking their orders, and ensuring their satisfaction. Handle any special requests or modifications to drinks.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of alcohol, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Flexibility to work longer hours as per business demand.
- Be courteous, professional and provide efficient service.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Proven work experience in a similar role
- Relevant training certificate
