Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is looking for a full-time Taylor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient service to our guests, ensuring that all garments are altered to a high standard. Responsibilities: Measure and fit garments for alterations Sew, hem, and taper garments according to customer specifications Repair tears, rips, and other damages to garments Replace buttons, zippers, and other fastenings Consult with customers to determine their alteration needs Ensure that all garments are altered to the highest quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep up to date with the latest fashion trends Operate sewing machines and other equipment safely Provide excellent customer service Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a tailor Knowledge of fabrics, stitching techniques, and garment construction Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination Ability to work quickly and accurately Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays
