About the job Senior Credit and Collections
The senior credit and collection representative is responsible for managing and administering the credit and collections function for the entire hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
1. Manage and administer the credit and collections function of the hotel to include, but not limited to, extending credit to group customers, the maintenance and control of accounts receivable and collection.
2. Establish and implement hotel credit and collection policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, local and company regulations and standards.
3. Resolve disputes on direct-bill and collection accounts.
4. Review credit and collection related issues including, but not limited to, Accounts Receivable Aged Trial Balance, high bill accounts, returned checks and credit card charge-backs and bad account write-offs.
EDUCATION:
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent certification.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role or supervisory experience in Credit and Collections, preferably in a high volume hospitality environment.
