Key Responsibilities:

  1. Construct and install wooden structures, including doors, windows, cabinets, counters, and furniture items.
  2. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to bring their designs to life.
  3. Identifying areas that require inspection and assess existing wooden repairs or replacements.
  4. Perform repairs on damaged furniture, fixtures, and wooden surfaces to maintain their aesthetics and functionality.
  5. Apply finishes, stains, paints, and varnishes to wooden surfaces to enhance their appearance and protect them from wear and tear.
  6. Ensure that all surfaces are smooth, polished, and free from imperfections.
  7. Collaborate with hotel staff and management to create custom furniture or fixtures that meet specific functional and aesthetic requirements.
  8. Modify existing wooden elements to accommodate changes in layout or design.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while using tools and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
  10. Ensure that all constructed and installed structures comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
  11. Work closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, and painters, to ensure seamless integration of carpentry work with other hotel projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a carpenter or woodworking professional.
