As a Set Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that various sets and locations within the hotel are impeccably organized, styled, and maintained. Your attention to detail, creativity, and organization will contribute to providing guests with a visually stunning and immersive experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the hotel's management and design teams to conceptualize and execute visually appealing set designs that align with the hotel's brand and aesthetic.
  2. Curate and arrange furniture, décor, and props to create inviting and engaging settings for guests.
  3. Coordinate the setup and breakdown of sets for events, photoshoots, and other activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to event schedules.
  4. Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of sets, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and free from wear and tear.
  5. Work closely with various departments, including marketing, events, and guest services, to understand set requirements and deliver on the intended visual impact.
  6. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source and acquire the necessary materials and props for set decoration.
  7. Ensure that all sets meet high standards of quality and aesthetics, enhancing the overall guest experience and contributing to positive guest reviews.
  8. Plan and execute multiple set-related projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  9. Continuously seek new design concepts, themes, and trends to infuse creativity and innovation into the set designs and layouts.
  10. Prioritize the safety of guests, employees, and contractors by adhering to health and safety regulations when setting up and dismantling sets.
  11. Maintain accurate records of set inventory, materials, and expenses for tracking and reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in design, styling, or related fields is a plus).
  2. Proven experience in set design, event decoration, or interior styling.
  3. Exceptional eye for design aesthetics, colors, textures, and spatial arrangements.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Ability to manage projects independently and work well within a team.
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and tight deadlines.
  8. Previous experience in a luxury or boutique hotel setting is a plus.
