About the job Entertainment Supervisor

The Entertainment Supervisor works closely with the Entertainment Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of entertainment offerings that enhance the hotel's overall guest satisfaction and reputation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Entertainment Manager to develop a comprehensive entertainment program that aligns with the hotel's brand and target audience. 
  2. Identify and select suitable entertainment options, such as live performances, DJs, themed events, and recreational activities.

  3. Supervise a team of entertainment staff, including performers, musicians, DJs, and activity coordinators. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality entertainment experiences.

  4. Plan and execute entertainment events, including shows, concerts, parties, and themed evenings. 
  5. Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as Food and Beverage, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

  6. Interact with guests and actively seek feedback to gauge satisfaction and preferences. 
  7. Use guest feedback to enhance entertainment offerings and tailor experiences to meet guest expectations.
  8. Health and Safety: Ensure that all entertainment activities comply with health and safety regulations. 
  9. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Implement appropriate safety measures and emergency procedures.

  10. Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote entertainment events and activities through various channels, including the hotel's website, social media, and in-house communication platforms.
  11. Oversee the maintenance and inventory control of entertainment-related equipment, such as audiovisual systems, musical instruments, props, and costumes. 
  12. Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and replacement of equipment as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is an advantage.

  2. Previous experience (typically 2+ years) in entertainment or event coordination, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industry.

  3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with performers, staff, and guests.

  5. Creativity and a passion for delivering unique and memorable entertainment experiences.

  6. Knowledge of entertainment production and technical requirements, including audiovisual systems, lighting, and stage setups.

  7. Proficiency in using entertainment-related software and tools.

  8. Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team.

  9. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the entertainment schedule.

  10. Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to entertainment activities.

  11. Knowledge of local entertainment resources and talent networks is an advantage.
