About the job Entertainment Supervisor
The Entertainment Supervisor works closely with the Entertainment Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of entertainment offerings that enhance the hotel's overall guest satisfaction and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Entertainment Manager to develop a comprehensive entertainment program that aligns with the hotel's brand and target audience.
- Identify and select suitable entertainment options, such as live performances, DJs, themed events, and recreational activities.
- Supervise a team of entertainment staff, including performers, musicians, DJs, and activity coordinators. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality entertainment experiences.
- Plan and execute entertainment events, including shows, concerts, parties, and themed evenings.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as Food and Beverage, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Interact with guests and actively seek feedback to gauge satisfaction and preferences.
- Use guest feedback to enhance entertainment offerings and tailor experiences to meet guest expectations.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all entertainment activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Implement appropriate safety measures and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote entertainment events and activities through various channels, including the hotel's website, social media, and in-house communication platforms.
- Oversee the maintenance and inventory control of entertainment-related equipment, such as audiovisual systems, musical instruments, props, and costumes.
- Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and replacement of equipment as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience (typically 2+ years) in entertainment or event coordination, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with performers, staff, and guests.
- Creativity and a passion for delivering unique and memorable entertainment experiences.
- Knowledge of entertainment production and technical requirements, including audiovisual systems, lighting, and stage setups.
- Proficiency in using entertainment-related software and tools.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the entertainment schedule.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to entertainment activities.
- Knowledge of local entertainment resources and talent networks is an advantage.
