We are currently seeking a Group Reservations Agent to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Position Overview:

As a Group Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for handling group reservations for our hotels and resorts in Jamaica. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure the smooth and efficient booking process for group reservations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all group reservations for Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica

- Communicate with the Sales and Marketing team to understand group needs and provide appropriate accommodations

- Utilize the hotel reservation system to book group reservations and update any changes or cancellations

- Respond promptly and professionally to all group reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the group's needs are met during their stay

- Assist with pre-arrival preparations for group reservations, including room assignments and special requests

- Maintain accurate and organized records of group reservations and payments

- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction with their group booking experience

- Handle any guest concerns or issues related to group reservations and escalate to management when necessary

- Stay updated on hotel policies, rates, and special offers to effectively communicate with guests and provide accurate information

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others

- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
