Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment at our properties. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed

- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the continuous operation of all facilities and equipment

- Conduct regular inspections of all properties to identify any maintenance needs and address them promptly

- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance and repair projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory

- Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures and safety protocols

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all maintenance needs are met without disrupting guest experiences

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, techniques, and equipment

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
