As a Room Attendant you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and suites, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant and memorable stay. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Clean and tidy guest rooms and suites daily, adhering to the hotel's established cleaning procedures and standards.
  2. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels to maintain a fresh and comfortable ambiance.
  3. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to present a well-maintained appearance.
  4. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
  5. Restock toiletries and amenities to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
  6. Replenish guest room supplies such as drinking glasses, coffee/tea, and stationery.
  7. Ensure that in-room amenities (e.g., mini-bar items, snacks) are correctly stocked and charged as needed.
  8. Report any lost items found in guest rooms to the housekeeping supervisor or management.
  9. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in guest rooms to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  10. Assist with periodic room inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
  11. Provide a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests in their rooms.
  12. Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping team and hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. 
  14. Follow all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  15. Adhere to the hotel's policies and standards, including those related to cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
  3. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals is a plus.
  4. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
  5. Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and bending.
  6. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition to interact with guests and team members.
  7. Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
