Job Description:

Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a warehouse setting.


Responsibilities:

- Receive and count stock items and record data on computer system

- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse

- Place stock items in designated areas in the warehouse

- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment

- Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to other locations

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents

- Locate and move stock of items to pallets or crates for storage or shipment

- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves

- Check inventories and report shortages or discrepancies

- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

- Follow safety procedures and use protective gear


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a warehouse setting

- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Proficient with computers and related software programs
