About the job Kids Club Supervisor

The Kids Club Cheif reports directly to the Entertainment Manager to ensure an exceptional experience for children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate and engaging activities and programs for children. 
  2. Design a variety of recreational, educational, and creative activities that cater to different age groups and interests.

  3. Supervise children in the Kids Club, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to established rules and guidelines. 
  4. Maintain a secure environment and follow proper child supervision protocols at all times.

  5. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of Kids Club attendants or activity coordinators. 
  6. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and engage children effectively.

  7. Interact with parents and guardians, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to the Kids Club activities. 
  8. Foster positive relationships with guests, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

  9. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management. 
  10. Maintain accurate attendance records, activity logs, and incident reports. 
  11. Order and organize supplies and equipment needed for Kids Club operations.

  12.  Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, including emergency procedures, first aid, and child protection guidelines. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Early Childhood Education, Recreation Management, or a related field is advantageous.

  2. Previous experience (usually 2+ years) in a supervisory role within a Kids Club, daycare, or similar child-focused setting.

  3. Strong knowledge of child development, behavior management, and age-appropriate activities.

  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage children and interact with parents and guardians.

  5. CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them.

  6. Ability to lead and motivate a team of staff members and create a positive work environment.

  7. Organizational skills to manage schedules, records, and inventory efficiently.

  8. Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise within the Kids Club.

  9. Creativity and flexibility to adapt activities and programs to different age groups and interests.

  10. Understanding of safety and security procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children.

  11. Familiarity with relevant software or systems for attendance tracking, scheduling, and reporting (if applicable).

  12. Knowledge of local regulations and child protection laws pertaining to Kids Club operations.
