- Good physical condition to perform water rescues and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Stamina and endurance to stay alert and attentive during long shifts.

- Ability to stay calm and reassuring in high-stress situations. Strong observational skills to constantly monitor the pool area and identify potential hazards or unsafe behaviors.
