The Group Events Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all group related events within our organization. This role demands the delivery of exceptional experiences that align with our brand, meet business objectives, and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail to ensure a seamless execution process.

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort setting
  • Ability to liaise with clients to understand their event needs and provide customized proposals and packages with a creative mind set
  • A proven track record of successfully executing a variety of events, ranging from small meetings to large-scale conferences
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing all types of group events at our resorts, including corporate events, incentive trips, conferences, and social gatherings, according to clients' specifications
  • Skills in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and event partners
  • A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our event offerings.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections, familiarization trips and host pre- and post-consultation meetings
  • Maintain accurate records of all event details, including P&L report, contracts, invoices, and correspondence with clients and vendors
  • Collaborate with other departments to plan event as per guest requirements
  • Maintain close relationship with Banquet department for seamless execution as per guest requirements
  • Remain as core point of contact for Clients
