Job Summary:
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the Food & Beverage Department. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will provide support to the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department, ensure that the highest standards of customer service are maintained and that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department and ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained.
Monitor and control costs and ensure that all staff are properly trained and motivated.
Assist in the development of menus and promotions.
Monitor the quality of food and beverage products and services.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff.
Monitor the performance of all staff and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Assist in the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
5+ years of experience in food and beverage management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
