Job Summary:

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager plays a key role in supporting the overall operations of the Food and Beverage department, with a strong emphasis on staff training and development. This position is responsible for ensuring team members deliver exceptional service by implementing effective training programs, maintaining service standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Minimum Requirement & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Four (4)- Five (5)+ years of experience in food and beverage management
  • Proven experience in staff training, service standard, and performance management
  • Design, implement, and lead training programs for front-of-house and back-of-house F&B staff
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service standards through regular coaching and performance evaluations
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
  • Monitor and control costs and ensure that all staff are properly trained and motivated
  • Monitor the quality of food and beverage products and services
  • Strong knowledge in inventory management software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Assist in the development of food and beverage marketing strategies and upselling
