Warehouse Driver

As a Warehouse Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and supplies between the hotel's warehouse and various departments. Your responsible handling of deliveries, attention to detail, and commitment to timely distribution will contribute to the hotel's operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently transport goods and supplies from the warehouse to different hotel departments, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
2. Collaborate with the warehouse team to assist in loading and unloading deliveries, verifying quantities, and updating inventory records.
3. Follow delivery schedules and prioritize urgent requests to meet departmental needs and event timelines.
4. Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance department.
5. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documenting items delivered, quantities, and recipient departments.
6. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies before loading and after delivery, alerting the warehouse team of any issues.
7. Follow safety protocols and traffic rules while driving, and adhere to hotel guidelines for safe lifting and handling of goods.
8. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, department heads, and colleagues to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries.
9. Assist the warehouse team in organizing and arranging goods within the warehouse, ensuring items are easily accessible.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
3. Previous experience as a delivery driver, warehouse assistant, or similar role is advantageous.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Effective communication skills for coordinating deliveries and interacting with colleagues.
