As the Cleaning Supervisor  will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our spa facilities. Working closely with the spa management, you will oversee a team of cleaning staff, coordinating their tasks and ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily activities of the spa cleaning team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  2. Ensure that all spa areas, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, lounges, and public areas, are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
  3. Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and amenities, coordinating with the procurement department to order necessary items.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and condition of spa facilities, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high standards.
  5. Train new cleaning staff on spa cleaning protocols and customer service standards, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  6. Oversee the care and maintenance of cleaning equipment to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.
  7. Implement proper waste disposal procedures, adhering to environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices.
  8. Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or cleaning management are a plus.
  2. Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry or spa setting.
  3. Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team of cleaning staff to achieve outstanding results.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, ensuring efficient scheduling and task allocation.
  5. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation best practices, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and visually appealing environment.
  6. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the spa.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and guests effectively.
  8. Flexibility in working hours, as spa operations may extend into evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Physical fitness and ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies if needed.
