Job Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, taking room service orders accurately and efficiently.
  2. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  3. Set up trays with appropriate utensils, condiments, and accompaniments before delivering the orders to guest rooms.
  4. Ensure that all food and beverages are presented and served in a professional and appealing manner.
  5. Assist in the preparation of food and beverage items, such as brewing coffee, slicing fruit, or assembling trays, as needed.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
  7. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  8. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  9. Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
  10. Uphold the hotel's standards of service, striving to exceed guest expectations and create a memorable dining experience.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge of food and beverage offerings and service techniques.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for guests and fellow workers
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service
  • Previous experience working in hospitality industry preferred

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • The flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
