As a Spa Receptionist in our hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our valued spa guests. Your warm and welcoming personality, coupled with your excellent organizational and communication skills, will create a positive and inviting atmosphere for all visitors. As the main liaison between guests and the spa team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and efficiency in managing appointments and inquiries will contribute to a delightful and stress-free spa experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome spa guests with a friendly and courteous attitude, providing a warm introduction to their spa journey.
  2. Efficiently schedule spa services, including massages, facials, and other treatments, based on guests' preferences and availability of therapists.
  3. Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about spa services, packages, and promotions.
  4. Facilitate a smooth check-in process for guests, ensuring accurate completion of necessary forms and documentation. Process payments and check-out guests after their spa experience.
  5. Build and maintain positive relationships with spa guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
  6. Promote and sell spa retail products, advising guests on appropriate items to enhance their spa experience and maintain their well-being at home.
  7. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining spa records and inventory.
  8. Provide guests with tours of the spa facility, explaining amenities, relaxation areas, and any unique features to enhance their overall experience.
  9. Upkeep of Reception Area: Ensure the spa reception area is tidy, organized, and visually appealing, reflecting the spa's ambiance and brand standards.
  10. Collaborate effectively with the spa therapists and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and deliver a cohesive guest experience.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in a receptionist or guest service role, preferably within a spa or hospitality environment.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage guest appointments and inquiries efficiently.
  5. Proficiency in computer applications, including booking and reservation systems, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Customer-focused mindset, dedicated to ensuring guests' needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  7. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
  8. Flexibility in working hours, as spa operations may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Understanding of spa treatments and services, or a willingness to learn about spa offerings to assist guests effectively.
