Position: Credit Collections Assistant

Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Credit Collections Assistant. 

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances

- Contact customers via phone, email or mail to remind them of their overdue payments

- Negotiate payment plans with customers who are unable to pay their full balance

- Keep accurate records of all collections activities and update customer information in the system

- Work closely with the credit department to resolve any issues or disputes related to customer accounts

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies

- Assist with the preparation of monthly collections reports for management

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in credit collections or a related field

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with collections software

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in collections
