About the job Accounting Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records and files

Assist with month-end closing processes

Prepare and enter journal entries

Reconcile bank statements

Prepare and process invoices

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Manage and update customer and vendor information

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Prepare financial reports

Handle customer inquiries

Adhere to accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role

Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
