Position: Casino Cashier

Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a reliable and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Casino Cashier. As a Casino Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while handling monetary transactions in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash to ensure correct control of money
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Exchange chips and tickets – to pay the customer their winnings
• Record transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times and follow proper cash handling procedures
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about casino promotions and amenities
• Monitor and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the Casino Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as gaming regulations
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent math and computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Must be able to obtain a clean police record & background check
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
